1. Built around everyday documents

Combining a few files, splitting out a page, or turning photos into a PDF should be straightforward. Folio PDF puts useful document actions within easy reach, on desktop and mobile browsers.

You can start with the upload area, switch between common tools, and save a result without creating a Folio PDF account. When processing finishes, a visible download area makes it easy to save the file again if you miss the automatic download.

2. What you can do

  • Combine and organize: merge files, split documents, reorder pages, rotate pages, or extract the pages you need.
  • Convert and resize: turn supported images into PDFs, export PDF pages as images, and reduce document size.
  • Edit and finish: add a signature, watermark, or page numbers and prepare a document to share.

Available features vary by tool. Review the finished file and keep your original, especially for important documents.

3. Designed for local processing

The document tools run on your device in your browser. Folio PDF does not operate a server-side document library for the files you select. Website resources and some processing components still need to be downloaded over the internet.

Our Privacy Policy explains the distinction between local document processing, browser storage, and ordinary hosting and CDN requests.

4. Open-source foundations

Folio PDF is based on BentoPDF, whose open-source tools provide its PDF processing foundation. Folio adds its own presentation and navigation for this deployment.

This is an independently operated project, not the official BentoPDF service. We do not claim endorsement by the upstream project. License information, acknowledgements, and the corresponding source code are available on our License & credits page.

5. Free tools and advertising

The PDF tools are currently free to use. This version does not display advertisements or load live advertising or tracking scripts.

If live advertising is introduced to support the website, the privacy notice and any required choices will need to reflect that setup.
